Privacy Policy – USA Federal Job Search

Tech Atlas LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the USA Federal Job Search Android application (“App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect Personal Identifiers: Name, email (if you log in with Google). Device Information: Device model, operating system, device/advertising IDs. Usage Data: In-app activity, crash logs, interactions with ads. Location Data (optional): If you allow, we use approximate location for job filtering. Account Data: Saved searches, bookmarks, keywords. Payment Data: If you subscribe, Google Play processes payments. We do not store card details.
2. How We Use Information Provide job listings from USAJOBS.gov and trusted sources. Enable login, saved searches, and personalized alerts. Deliver push notifications and keyword alerts. Show ads (AdMob) unless you purchase Pro (ad-free). Improve app performance and user experience. Ensure secure subscriptions through Google Play Billing.
3. Data Retention & Deletion We automatically delete user account data after 90 days of inactivity. You may request account deletion anytime by emailing us at techatlas.ny@gmail.com. Cached job data is refreshed daily from public sources.
4. Data Sharing & Disclosure We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
   • Google Firebase & Firestore – secure hosting of login/account data.
   • AdMob – for ads (if not Pro).
   • Analytics providers – for app improvement.
   • Legal authorities, if required by law.
5. Children’s Privacy Our App is not intended for children under 13. If we discover a child has registered, we will delete the account immediately.
6. Your Privacy Rights Depending on your location, you may have rights under CCPA (California) or GDPR (Europe). To exercise rights, contact techatlas.ny@gmail.com.
7. Security We use Google’s secure Firebase infrastructure with encryption to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure.
8. Third-Party Links & Content Our App may link to USAJOBS.gov and third-party job portals. We are not responsible for their policies or content.
9. Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted in the App and/or Play Store listing.

11. Services Provided We aggregate and display federal job listings sourced from USAJOBS.gov and other trusted portals. We are not a U.S. government agency and are not affiliated with any federal employer. Job details should always be verified on official government sites before applying.
12. User Accounts You may sign up using Google login. You are responsible for maintaining your account security. Inactive accounts are automatically deleted after 90 days.
13. Subscriptions & Payments Subscription options: 1 month, 3 months, 12 months. A 7-day free trial is available (one-time per account). Payments are processed via Google Play Billing. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal. Refunds follow Google Play refund policies.
14. Ads & Pro Version Free users may see ads via AdMob. Paid Pro users enjoy ad-free usage and extra features.
15. Acceptable Use You agree not to use the App for unlawful or fraudulent purposes. Do not scrape or copy job data for resale. Do not misuse alerts or spam notifications.
16. Disclaimer of Warranties We do not guarantee job availability, accuracy, or hiring outcomes. Job data is aggregated from USAJOBS.gov and other public sources. The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
17. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tech Atlas LLC is not responsible for errors in job listings, job application outcomes, service interruptions, technical issues, or data loss.
18. Termination We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
19. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of New York, United States.

You may cancel your subscription anytime in Google Play Store → Payments & Subscriptions. After cancellation, you retain access until the end of the billing period.
